Coldplay - Viva La Vida

I don't know what to really say about this video. It made me want to start a blog and start venting how i feel towards pieces of work of musicians or artist.

This song was one of my favorites of the year. I was really wanting for something special to come from these guys. The lyrics are just unique and with the itunes video coming out. I thought it was going to be epi but it was the opposite. It was very.....boring...

This video had a theme but it didn't really go anywhere. It was just he lead singer of Coldplay jumping around and not really doing anything. With the lyrics the way they are, there should of been some awesome imagery but there wasn't. It was just a performance video for a non-performance single. And that is only one side of it. The other is that the production alue of this ideo was very low. They just stood infront of a green screen and used some non-great cameras to film this.

All and all. This video was the let down of the year. BUT!!! The itunes version was one of the videos of the year even tho it was only 30 seconds.  This video had soul and emotion. It had something more than just basic camera angles like the full length.
